Absolutely wonderful! Had the best ribs, and the beans and macaroni salad. Everything was so delicious and the ribs were perfect!
I highly recommend this place if you want a little "home cooking" experience. They've been here 15 years. -

Ordered chicken, ribs, potatoe salad and baked beans through Door Dash or Uber Eats, can't remember which service.
The plate does come with 2 slices of bread which I appreciated.
Cutting the to chase:
Potato Salad:
Unseasoned and the literally ive you about 2 tablespoons of it in a condiment sized cup.
Beans:
Canned and doctored up. Probably the best thing in the plate though to be honest.
Ribs:
Definitely needed more smoke flavor and were tough to eat. The sauce was actually decent but there wasn't much of it at all.
Chicken:
I had a leg and a bunch of chopped up hunks of what I assume was chicken breast. The chicken breast was dry. Chicken leg was OK.
This is your run of the mill, uncle or dad's backyard BBQ. I've said it once before about another local BBQ place, but this is the type of BBQ you eat if you wanted to be reminded of home. This not pitmaster style BBQ. It is run of the mill and you'll only like it if you're into those kinds of flavors. Slightly underseasoned and underexecuted. -

We stopped by the this BBQ spot on a fluke. It wasn't very busy which kind of worries me but hey I'm all for supporting Black Businesses.
Customer service felt rushed and he wasn't very friendly. My friend got a 3 way and I got a tri tip dinner with a peach cobbler and banana pudding. Proportions are so skimpy and pre chopped which I do not like. Sauce was good and the meat was cooked well but I couldn't get over the small portion. Potato salad wasn't great very bland and very small portion. Banana pudding was literally Jello pudding with one wafer for $4 smh. The flavor of the sauce and meat has a lot of potential but the I can't see myself coming back and spending $50 again (luckily my date paid).
Pros: meat cooked perfectly, good mild sauce
Cons: too expensive for the small amount of food, sides aren't that good, chopped meat, desserts should be priced at $1.50 -

Overpriced for the small portions they give .. it's about time they close it down .. not sure why they charge 15.00 for basically two pieces of links .. one spoon full of potato salad & fork full of beans .. it's crazy

**Literally typing this while waiting on the last plate I'll ever order from here**
I usually try very hard to give second chances. Coming here for the second time because it's close to my job and just overall wanting to support this business and excited about a close BBQ option. I advised one of the possible owners of my first experience with the food and his explanation was "well I don't know who was here, but I made the (catfish) batter myself today "
I left it alone and didn't tell him that he in fact was the one who prepared my food the first time
But Oh...Ok
Dry, unfriendly, disengaged staff, and The food was mediocre at best.
Extremely disappointed and hated to have to yelp this because I am a business owner whose work is centered around excellent customer service but here we are...
I've had better for less and will not be returning.
***UPDATE
The catfish was a tad... (tad) bit more seasoned, the single mild link is fine if you have a hankering for some BBQ. Just noticed that a dry half end of the bread was shoved in with the two other pieces... I still stand by my post.
